On Thursday the 16th of November 2017, the Shainin Symposium for Europe and Asia was held in Munich Germany. Guests from 15 different countries attended the Symposium to address the subject “Complex-Technical-Problem-Solving” and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Shainin’s Red X methodology. The Symposium was held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel.
The 9 speakers at the Symposium were executives from the world’s largest and most prestigious companies. They included Airbus, Continental, Dana, ZF, AGCO, and Shainin.
We want to thank our speakers for sharing their insights and experience at the Symposium.

The Symposium ended with a formal dinner and the 2017 Dorian Shainin Award Ceremony at the Theresiensaal at Der Pschorr, adjacent to the Viktualienmarkt. The awards consisted of two categories, the Individual and Company Awards. The winners are listed below.
